Greg Copp & Company, Inc. is a boutique CPA firm located in the downtown Austin courthouse district, near Austin Community College. Our firm, well over 100 years of combined income tax filing experience, is a full-service accounting firm serving established clients throughout the Austin, Texas area. Our team provides clients with professional, personalized services and guidance, in a wide range of financial and business needs, including tax preparation and filing for individuals, entities, trusts, and nonprofits.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Senior Federal Income Tax Preparer – CPA will be responsible for a wide range of tax clients including some of our most important assignments. The individual will report directly to Greg Copp and will be instrumental in advancing the firm’s growth objectives. The role can be a Full-Time, Part-Time or Seasonal Full-Time/Part-Time position, based on the needs of the individual.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 7 years of extensive tax experience, with proven track record of preparing returns for established individuals, entities, trusts, and non-profits
· Advanced tax knowledge, with proven ability to provide excellent customer service and solutions to various clientele
· Experience in some, or all, of the following subject areas: Tax Management Services, Compilations, Financial and Retirement Planning, IRS Representation, Entity Selection and Restructuring, Payroll Services, M&A, Sales, Accounting Services, Estate and Trust Planning and Tax Preparation, Litigation Support and Forensic Accounting, Bookkeeping/Write-up, QuickBooks, Employee Benefits, Pension, and Profit-Sharing Plans
· Must be proficient in QuickBooks
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Attention to detail is required for success
