ZimZee Recruiting is working with a life sciences company in Lehi, Utah, and we're looking for an experienced Engineering Technician to join their team. This is a hands-on role focused on PCB assembly, soldering, and rework in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Skills & Requirements:

• No degree required, but relevant certifications or training are a plus
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly or a related technician role
• Strong proficiency in soldering and electronic component handling (a soldering test will be part of the interview process)
• Solid understanding of basic electronics and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience using PCB assembly tools and machinery
• General comfort with technology and mechanical equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precision soldering and PCB rework, including surface-mount and through-hole components
• Operate and maintain in-house PCB manufacturing equipment, including a Pick-and-Place machine and reflow oven
• Use a BGA rework station to rework and repair populated circuit boards
• Conduct basic diagnostics, troubleshoot boards, and identify shorts or other electronic faults
• Collaborate with engineering staff to support prototyping and small-batch production
• Ensure quality and consistency across all assembled boards
