As a member of our Event Security Team, you will guard, patrol, and monitor the venue premises to keep guests, band members, team members, and vendors safe, and prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle guests with discretion are essential. This is a seasonal, part-time, event-based position that will begin April/May 2025 and end September/October 2025. Essential duties include greeting guests with superior hospitality and customer service, conducting bag searches and operating detecting devices to screen individuals, serving as checkpoint personnel and verifying credentials, ensuring and checking wristbands, circulating among guests and employees to preserve safety and order, listening to customer concerns and acting accordingly, communicating via radio transmission, responding to safety and security calls professionally and timely, monitoring assigned work area to keep the venue safe, clean, and presentable, adhering to dress code, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a New York State Security Guard License, high school diploma or GED, and 1-3 years of verifiable experience with customer service and security. Skills required include exceptional hospitality and customer service skills, clear and professional communication, high confidentiality, knowledge of radio communication, good judgment, ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, and tolerance to adverse outdoor conditions. Physical demands include standing for long periods, using hands/fingers, talking clearly, hearing guests and team members, walking, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs, occasional sitting, and exposure to loud noises and pyrotechnics. The position is seasonal and part-time, starting April/May 2025 and ending September/October 2025.
