Job Description

A dynamic real estate and hospitality group based in Los Angeles is seeking a Licensed Architect of Record to join their growing team. This is a high-impact, in-house role overseeing architectural compliance, code review, and permitting across a portfolio of exciting development and hospitality projects in Los Angeles and West Hollywood.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams, design consultants, and contractors from entitlement through construction—bringing visionary concepts to life while ensuring technical excellence and regulatory alignment every step of the way.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as Architect of Record across all active projects.
• Stamp and submit drawing sets for permit approvals.
• Navigate Los Angeles and West Hollywood zoning, building codes, and agency processes.
• Coordinate with city departments including Building & Safety, Public Works, Fire, and Health.
• Collaborate with external consultants to create constructible, code-compliant plans.
• Support entitlement efforts and city presentations.
• Attend site visits and lead value engineering initiatives.
• Maintain rigorous documentation and support city and consultant communications throughout.

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed Architect (CA) in good standing.
• 3–5+ years of architectural experience, including at least 2 years in an Architect of Record or senior technical role.
• Deep familiarity with LA/West Hollywood permitting, zoning, and agency protocols.
• Background in commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, or retail development.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and permitting platforms.
• Strong communicator who’s detail-oriented, solution-driven, and collaborative.
