Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Hollywood, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in the aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a secure environment by responding promptly to incidents and supporting a culture of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
  • Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
