As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, interacting with employees and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.80 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Wed 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help control entry and exit from the location. Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements. Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence. Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions that may require a security-related response. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
