What You’ll Do As part of the informatics team, you will help aggregate and quality control data from various electronic health record systems and structured data sources to build the largest oncology clinical data library. You will collaborate with clinical data experts, engineers, data scientists, and medical terminologists to ensure data quality for downstream analysis. Additionally, you will develop playbooks and documentation to scale processes and introduce AI-driven solutions to improve team efficiency. Responsibilities Leverage and expand our toolkit to aggregate and harmonize complex data. Own quality assurance processes to ensure data standards are met. Utilize Python/SQL for data querying, quality assurance, and API calls. Identify and implement improvements to data processing infrastructure, especially using generative AI. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or Information Systems (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience working with complex data, preferably EHR. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and GitHub. Knowledge of Oncology and Cancer Genomics. High attention to detail and quick learner. Strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration. Nice-to-Haves Knowledge of Health Informatics. Experience with Standard Medical Terminologies (SNOMED-CT, ICD-9/10, LOINC). Experience with NLP techniques. Salary Range Illinois: $150,000 - $210,000 USD New York: $150,000 - $210,000 USD Note: Salary may vary based on location, qualifications, and experience.
