Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to financial record-keeping, reporting, and analysis. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization. Key responsibilities of a staff accountant often include:

• Preparing financial statements: Prepare various financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Assisting with audits: Prepare documentation and support for both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and accounting standards.
• Adhering to accounting principles: Ensure that all financial activities comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Supporting other accounting functions: You may also assist with tasks like budgeting, forecasting, and tax preparation, depending on the size and structure of the organization.
• Maintaining financial records: This involves accurately recording transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring all financial data is properly documented.
• Reconciling accounts: You will regularly reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records to identify and correct any discrepancies.

Your role is to ensure the smooth and accurate functioning of the accounting department, contributing to the overall financial stability and success of the organization.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $28.00 Per Hour
