You will oversee the daily operations of the clinical lab, lead personnel, ensure compliance, and help shape a high-performing, patient-centered environment.   Job Title: Lab Operations Manager Location: Marshfield, WI Job Type: Permanent /Direct Hire Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 40 hours/week Client: A nationally respected healthcare organization   Key Responsibilities Lead daily lab operations to ensure efficient, high-quality, and compliant services Collaborate with staff to improve workflow and implement best practices Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality control standards Mentor and manage a skilled, motivated lab team Handle budget planning, capital investments, and resource allocation Resolve operational challenges and support cross-functional communication Align lab operations with organizational goals and growth initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Histology, Cytotechnology, or related field Associate degree acceptable if enrolled in a Bachelor's program (to be completed within 24 months) Minimum 5 years of relevant lab experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role Preferred Qualifications ~3+ years of lab management experience ~ Education from a NAACLS or CAAHEP accredited program ~ Specialty certifications based on lab area: ~ Cytopathology: CT (ASCP) or IAC ~ Clinical/Transfusion: MT/MLS/CLS (ASCP) ~ Histology: HT (ASCP) ~ Supportive Services: MLT (ASCP) Compliance & Patient Care Must be eligible to work under federally funded healthcare programs (Medicare, Medicaid) Ability to work with diverse patient populations with sensitivity and professionalism What Sets You Apart Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Passion for innovation, teamwork, and service excellence Alignment with core healthcare values: Patient-Centered Care, Trust, Teamwork, Excellence, and Affordability Why Join MARS Solutions Group?
